Before TakeOff Even Happened...

On board plane. 11pm Singapore Time
Testing... Testing... oh good this pen works...

Currently on the plane to Bangkok, just finished and cleared the food which is how I got space on the tray to write.

( Funny, how come airlines serve meals so late at night? Won't most people have already eaten by then? Maybe they found that if people are full of food, they'd be more sedate and hence less air rage incidents will happen. )

So now logging on the stuff that happened at the airport. Xia sway man. Firstly, after we checked in and entered the departure gates, I realized that my jacket, previously tied around my waist, was MISSING! Then it turns out that I'd dropped it while checking in. Even better, the others apparently noticed it on the floor and when they asked me if it was mine, I said no. HUH??? I didn't realise I was so blur lor. I don't even remember them asking me this!

So me and Julian ran to the info counter for help, and thankfully someone at the counter did pick it up. My poor jacket was brought to the boarding gate, waiting for me. Now wearing it and quite determined not to take if off for the duration of the trip.

Then the 2nd fiasco happened with me dad's Swiss Army knife. Like a fool, blur again, I'd put it in my hand luggage and OF COURSE they saw it while my bag was being scanned! Had to talk to security ( Do I look like a terrorist to you? ) and turns out my knife will be "gift-wrapped" and sent to Heathrow in a security package awaiting my arrival. ARGH! Do I freakin' look like a terrorist? *cry*

At least take-off and meals went smoothly, though too bad i'm seated separately, across the aisle from the others. Feel damn stoned, caught between wanting to sleep and actually sleeping. *sigh* See what happens in Bangkok! No more bad luck please.

Onwards to 14 June
